Actually, I thought it was one of the better ones they've had in a while. It totally mocks product-placement and the "ghettoness" of cell phone commercials.

Why mock product placement with....product placement? If they truly wanted to make fun of it, they would have used a fake product and not turned the episode into an advertisement for that cell phone company.

    It was fucking garbage.

I guess it's supposed to be "ironic" or something, that while "mocking" product placement, they're engaging in it.

If they wanted to really mock it, they could have quite easily made up a mock-company, like "Poopst mobile phone" and "Ass body spray". But they used real products, so it was fucking garbage. VERY disappointing.

When Frylock said "You whored us out to a cell phone company", I was just thinking, "Oh, you guys think you're reeeeal clever, don't you?"

I mean, the shit wasn't even funny.

yeah... I kinda wondered about that. Why bother use real product names? we knew who they were talking about. Say Pooft Mobile and Whacks Body Spray. Not funny. Worse than that, the jokes weren't even funny, either, except for maybe Carl telling them to get off his frikkin' lawn, but even that is old news.

I am kinda looking forward to next week, when Ur & Ignignot get some (heh!!) It's a half hour x-mas episode, if I am to believe the promos (oh, wait, am I that gullible?)...

I was hoping Carl was going to shoot the phone. I'll bet the "mocked" sponsors wouldn't have been to happy with that, though.

"Where are the chips? C'mon now, we got a vibe goin'... oh here they are... in my gun."

"Oh, I got a magazine for you. It's full of hollow-points."

Wait, I thought the Booster Mobile or whatever phone company it was, wasn't real. I was tired when I saw it, but I could've sworn it was a fake.

Boost Mobile currently runs ads that shows celebs in a "What if they hadn't had Boost Mobile" phase, like Eve would have been a dance instructor, Fat Joe would have been a pet psychic, Travis Barker would have been a bodybuilder, but THANK GOD THEY HAD BOOST MOBILE NOW THEIR LIVES ARE SAVED AND SO IS YOURS FOR ONLY $59.95/MONTH ...

Well, I will say this much, it was a nice follow-up to Master Shake's E-Dork episode, where the battery pack was bigger than the helmet...

Ugh. I have a bad taste in my mouth. Hopefully, this will be the first and last for them.

Damn, I thought it was just me. I was watching that episode like, "I hope they got a boat load of money for this shit."

I don't even know why they need the money. The episodes cost nothing to make. The upcoming movie perhaps?

Needing money and just wanting more of it are 2 different things. I figured they had gotten an offer that their greed just could not refuse. Everybody has their price. Truth be told I ain't even mad. They have had worse episodes in my opinion. I was just kinda surprised they were using "real world" products. Strange...

Boost Mobile also has a tagline that irritates the hell out of the Grammar Fascist in me: "Where you at?" Um, hello, in proper English one does not end a sentence with a preposition! If they want to make more ads out of ATHF, they better change it to "Where are you?" or I'm boycotting.
